Purpose, Scope and Other Definitions
This policy is intended to provide the website users with information about what information the website collects, how it is used and the circumstances in which it can be shared with third parties.
In this privacy statement, the users data may be referred to as “personal data” or “personal information”. The website may also sometimes collectively refer to the processing, collection, protection and storage of the users personal data or any activity that is identical, such as “processing” of personal data.
Collection of personal data
The website will collect information necessary to provide and improve the services.
As a user, the person has the right to request information on how the website collects private information by contacting those responsible for managing the website (contact).
What data do we collect?
Having left the comment by the website user, we collect the data visible in the comment form, as well as the user’s IP address and browser signature to help detect spam.
If the user has registered his/her account and uploads pictures to the website, he/she should avoid uploading pictures with EXIF location tags. The website users can download and read full location data from pictures on the website.
If the user leaves a comment, the content and metadata will be retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognise and approve subsequent comments automatically, without sending them for each moderation.
As far as the users registered on our website, we also store the personal information entered in the profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their username, which cannot be changed). The website administrators can also view and modify this information.
Purposes of protecting legitimate interests
The website processes personal data in order to protect the legitimate interests pursued by Woprol or by a third party. The legitimate interest means that a party has a business, commercial or legal justification to use the user information. Even then, however, the website cannot act against the best interests of the user.
Examples of such processing activities include:
initiation of court proceedings and preparation of defense in court proceedings;
measures and processes that we undertake to ensure the IT security of the website, preventing potential crime, security of resources, access control and measures to prevent hostile hijacking;
business management measures and the further development of the website products and services;
transfer, assignment (unconditional or as security for obligations) and/or sale to one or more persons and/or encumbrance and/or liability of any or all of the benefits, rights, title or interest of the party under any agreement concluded by and between the user and the representatives of the website.
The website can use the user data, such as location, to deliver news, analysis, research, reports, campaigns or training that can be of interest to the user, to his/her e-mail address, if provided to the website.
The users are always entitled to change this option if they no longer wish to receive such information and can unsubscribe at any time.
Control and processing of the user’s personal data
The website can collect, process and store personal data provided by the user.
For the processing and storage of personal data provided by the user in any jurisdiction within or outside the European Union, the website hereby certifies that it will be done in accordance with all applicable laws.
Period of storage of the user personal data
The website will store the user personal data for five years to comply with the legal requirements. In some cases, this period may be extended.
Once the website no longer needs to store the user personal information, it will securely delete or destroy it.

The right to delete is not an absolute “right to be forgotten”. Natural persons have the right to delete personal data and prevent processing in special circumstances:
when personal data are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were originally collected/processed;
when the person withdraws his/her consent;
when the person objects to the processing and there is no overriding legitimate interest in continuing the processing;
when personal data have been processed unlawfully (i.e. in violation of the GDPR);
when personal data must be deleted in order to comply with the law;
when personal data are processed in connection with the offer of information that is provided to a child.
There are some specific circumstances where the right to delete does not apply and the website can refuse to comply with the user request.
When can the website refuse the right to delete data?
The website can refuse to delete personal data in the case of personal data processing for the following reasons:
to comply with a legal obligation or to a public authority;
to exercise or defence of legal claims.
The website reserves the right to change or amend this Data Protection Statement unilaterally without notice and at any time in accordance with this provision.
The website uses small files known as cookies to increase its functionality and improve the overall user experience.
